Touchless Booth
Now, more than ever, people are exercising extra caution to prevent the spread of germs. In these trying times and beyond Coronavirus, our software team has introduced a Voice Activation Photobooth Experience as a safe way to use our apps and hardware. Have some photo fun without ever touching a screen! With intuitive voice commands, you can start a countdown, choose to retake or send your photo or GIF to your Online Gallery, and even scan a QR code to get it on your phone.

Digital Props
This has been a standard feature with Open Air Booth since 2018 but as the world settles into a "new normal" digital props are leading the way in minimal contact fun. From Viking helmets to rainbow tattoos, just tap the prop icon to view HUNDREDS of inbuilt props & filters. Going digital removes the maintenance and set-up/pack-down costs of physical props. Plus, you'll never have to share a sweaty sequined hat or mess up your hair to take off the bunny-ears headband.
*Digital props are not currently available in conjunction with Voice Activation (it's one or the other at this stage) but we'll have hand sanitiser on deck as well as wipes for the touch screen.

Affordable
We get it. A photo booth can often fall into the 'nice-to-have' category rather than 'top priority' when planning an event. That's why we offer a build-a-booth concept so you can add or remove different options to suit your budget.

Travel Fee
Home base is in Loganholme, 4129 QLD so travel fees are:

FREE within 20km radius

$50 between 21km - 40km
-
$100 between 41km - 80km
Sorry we are unable to provide our services if your venue is greater than 80km.

Self-Service
Simply follow the user-friendly prompts on the touch-screen and have fun exploring the filters, digital props and sharing features. Our team will deliver, set up, then disappear. You'll see us again later to pack down, though we still offer on-call support if required.

Online Gallery
Print-outs are nice but will increase the hire price. Online Galleries are an excellent alternative to capture your event. You’ll be given the link to your Online Gallery before your event. The link will be LIVE, meaning pictures are uploaded from the booth to the Gallery instantly and can also be shared via text, email or social media.

Fun For Adults
Open Air Booth is the best ice-breaker at a social event. What better way to get the party started than for you and your guests to break out your signature Charlie’s Angels pose before heading to the bar... or on your way back if you needed a bit of 'dutch courage' to strike a pose!

Fun For Teens
With multiple lighting tones (cold to warm) and at least 15 different filters, Open Air Booth provides the ultimate glow up for your next profile pic. Perfect for sweet 16th or 18th birthdays, formals & graduations, OAB is the ultimate selfie machine.

Fun For Kids
Our digital props feature is an entertainment MAGNET for kids – watch them take a pic then spend the next ten minutes giggling as they swap out digital hats for beards and glasses for facial tattoos… or all of those at once!

We offer two stunning backdrops, The Lush Wall and The Shrub Wall. Both are high quality, UV resistant.
Perfect for weddings, expos, conferences, red carpet events and promotional launches.

Extras
Personalise your backdrop by adding faux flowers or standard/customised signage. Our faux flowers are placed individually by hand so the end result will always be unique to your event. We also have pre-made signs and can make customised signs specific to your event.

$50 + $20 security bond that will be fully or partially refunded dependent on any damages incurred or the removal of flowers during your hire time. Available when you hire a backdrop. -

The Process

Submit a booking form and I'll be in touch within 24-48hrs.

Once I've checked availability and confirmed the finer details with you, I'll send you a quote/invoice.
If you're happy to proceed, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. Full payment is required at least 7 days before your event.

I'll touch base again 7 days before your event and finally on the day of, when we're on our way to set up. That's it! If you have any questions please let me know.

About Me
Kia ora/Hello! I'm Sarah, Founder and Owner of Open Air Booth.
Originally from Auckland, I moved to the Gold Coast in 2008 and am now based in Loganholme with my extended family and my fiancé... who was meant to be my husband on July 4th 2020 until we were forced to postpone due to COVID-19. Oh well, bring on July 2021!
Before 2018, starting a photo booth business wasn’t even a blip on my radar. That year I’d flown back to Auckland for a birthday, which featured a really cool open-air photo booth. I was so impressed! When I returned to Australia I tried to hire one for an event but couldn’t find one that suited my needs. I didn’t need all the bells and whistles. I just wanted something compact and affordable, easy to set up and easy to use for us to have some fun capturing awesome moments throughout the event.
So, I created my own. Open Air Booth was born and here I am in 2020 – a Resource Planner by day (proud Excel/Tableau geek) and a small business owner by night. What began as a personal DIY project has evolved into a fascinating journey and, for me, it's about capturing special moments that turn into beautiful stories and wonderful memories that make you say "Aww remember when..." or "OMG, this was when..."
I'm so excited to be able to share this fun and entertaining experience with you and your guests.
